Let the coat dry before sanding it again and applying a fresh coat.

How much money does automotive paint cost to repaint one car?I have a 92 BMW 525 and the paint is starting to show its wear. I am looking to repaint the whole car and get a friends to do it in his shop. He is only charging me for paint and not labor. How much can i expect a regular grade automotive enough to cover a whole car? thanks
