Modern cars have very flexible painted surfaces stretched across the bumper surfaces which are specially designed to withstand minor impacts with impunity. The idea is that a vehicle’s bumpers will absorb many of the minor impacts routinely encountered in parking lots and during everyday driving without being damaged. Unfortunately, the bumper paint is ultimately damaged, marred or scraped off when the bumper absorbs too great of an impact.

The bumper paint used on modern flexible bumpers is unique and is designed to be applied on flexible surfaces. The paint is specifically designed to be fully cured but still flex to a much greater degree than the paints which are applied to the much more rigid surfaces such as metal and high-impact plastic. The reason for these unique qualities is the existence of a chemical flex agent in bumper paint.

When procuring primer and paint products to be used for bumpers it is important to purchase and utilize products which are specifically designed for this specialized application. These paints are chemically designed for adhesion to plastic surfaces. The paint formulas are essentially the same as the materials which are sprayed onto non-flexible surfaces, but will include additives to give the paint its flexible qualities. Therefore, bumper paint is somewhat more expensive when purchased.

Bumpers are painted in basically the same manner as the rest of the vehicle. For new bumpers, the surface must be somewhat more thoroughly cleaned using specific products to remove any traces of the mold release agents which are applied inside the molds used when the plastic parts are manufactured. Presence of such mold release agents will negatively affect adhesion of the paint to the plastic surfaces. The bumper’s surface must be thoroughly chemically cleaned to remove any waxes, oil, road film, mold release agents or fingerprints so the bumper paint will adhere properly. Primers or sealants are sprayed first, followed by the basecoat paint and finally topped with clearcoat, all of which contain the flex agent. After fully curing, the flexible bumper paints may be buffed and waxed in the same manner as any other automotive paints.

The VW W12 used to be a concept vehicle for several years until it reached full production in 2004. It is the ultimate race car from the VW Company itself which was unveiled during the 35th Motor Show in Tokyo. The car has a maximum speed of 350km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. At this rate, it is the next fastest car to Bugatti Veyron which can achieve a max speed of more than 400km/h. For you to know, Bugatti is also a sub-company of Volkswagen. Of course Veyron is far way more expensive compared to W12 but they only have a 50km/h difference in terms of maximum speed with thousands of dollars gap in their price tags. W12 is more practical to buy because the Veyron simply has way too much of everything. The W12 is also more user-friendly if you will just check its automotive repair manuals.

The Volkswagen is a lightweight sports car at 1200 kg. To power it, the W12 has a mid-mounted six liter 12 cylinder engine that produces 600 horsepower at only 7000 rpm. To prove that the given maximum speed and power of VW W12 are all accurate, a prototype was brought to a very famous race track in Nardo, Italy. Awesomely, it had set a world record for mileage achieved in 24 hours. The W12 prototype version was able to cover 7,085.7 km (4,403 miles) at a speed averaging 295.24 km/h beating the previous record with a gap of 12 km/h (7.5 mph).

The interesting features of W12 as seen in its haynes repair manuals include two wing doors that open to the front as well as a roof made of glass that extends from the windscreen above the engine compartment where the engine is located. The engine is a 12cylinder type composed of two very thin V6 four-valve engines that has a 72 degrees angle configuration. In addition, there is a joint crankshaft in the engine having seven primary bearings to create V-V arrangement. The engine weighs only 239 kg which is considerably light in its class. It is technically a two-seater coupe that has a design that resembles those of the VW top-class models in the future. The red painted VW W12 looks similar to Ferrari Enzo but it is way more advanced in all aspects of course. The interior of the vehicle is very luxurious that you can find leather seat cover, aluminium, and carbon fibre. Other stunning features are the air-conditioning system, navigation system, and on board computer and telephone that can all be adjusted and controlled through a colour display located in the centre of the dash panel.

In addition to the abovementioned characteristics, the Volkswagen W12 is also very reliable on the road because it has a state of the art safety system and excellent driving performance. However, not anyone can drive this car. In order to unleash the full potential of the car, drivers with guts are greatly needed.

This is not what you think; this is about buying your next car directly from the used police cars. Think about it one minute. Police cars are a really good offer and a really good bargain. First of all, you have all the options, gadgets and accessories you may need or not with the latest technologies and comforts. You guess it, they are well-equipped. Another important point to consider is that these kinds of automotive are strong and rugged because they have to do their jobs correctly without being late. You can drive them longer, and you can keep them longer. You know if you like sport cars then try to look for patrol cars.

You can have a great price, but as you may suspect you have to invest a little to make it normal. You need to paint the whole car. You need to remove the siren and the wire nets. If you do the modification yourself or by a professional then it will cost you less than $600 to $700. But do it right to preserve and to keep longer your investment.

Another point of reassurance, you will have no problem with the documents. Everything is correct and everything is updated. I’ve forgotten to tell you about something in the beginning when I was saying that you’ve got the latest technologies. You also have the latest and almost new components and elements. You’ve got new gears, brakes, lights and clutch.

Car manufacturers are also building these cars much stronger to protect the policeman and to avoid any stress from a bad driving. You’ll spend less fuel and drive longer for the same price. And believe me, these auto are really comfortable because they spend a lot of time in the car. The security is another good point to consider too. They are a little more protected to avoid damages and thefts. Most of the time, these cars come a really good condition with no major breakdowns.

If they are perfect, you will have to check some points when you’re going to buy these cars:
Check the make and the year to simply get the latest model or your favorite model. But one big flaw is the lack of choices. You know when the government purchases police cars, they buy in lot. It means that during a certain period of time you’ll only have a few models available. That’s why you have to check the make and the year of the desired car.

The best places to make your shopping first are online. It’s really easy. It’s not permanent but you may find from time to time auctioned cars from your police department. The government is the seller. So, I recommend you to search from time to time at various government auctions before purchasing your next car or why your next SUV.

The airbrush paints available in the market today are non-toxic and water soluble. They are used in applications like temporary tattoos, automotive, modeling, fabric and by custom surfboard makers. They are available in craft shops, stationery shops as well as art stores. I find it very easy to use craft and textile paints and if you learn the basics, it becomes even easier.

These paints come in two different colors i.e. the opaque and the transparent types. The opaque is usually referred as the base color, non transmitting or the impenetrable to sight. They have a higher amount of pigments and can clog your brush easily at the tip. Whereas the Transparent paints allow light to pass through it so that other objects or bodies can be seen distinctly.

Some of the airbrush paints include: acrylics, gouache, and water colors. These are water based colors that come in tubes and in pre-reduced form. Acrylics are available in both transparent and opaque colors, they are easily thinned and cleaned using water. They are used in painting clothing and textiles. sign paints, oil paints and cratex colors are reduced with spirits or turpentine. They can be opaque or transparent depending on the level of reduction.

To apply a airbrush paints on fabrics, first you will need to try it on paper or canvas as you may well know, colors turn permanent on drying. Clean the leather by rubbing with alcohol or spirits. Spray a mild base coat of Opaque for best results. Apply color in thin even coats, avoiding excessive paint layering and over saturation. Let the colors dry before heat setting. Iron the fabric for thirty seconds using protective cloth.
